Franklin Year 6 & Below Soccer Tournament

I am so super PROUD to be a Mauku teacher after the way our 4 teams conducted themselves and played soccer at the tournament today. They even helped pack up and cleaned up at the end to (after having a very successful day on and off the field). Big thanks to all the parent helpers for transport, supervision and support. Hand Delivered

This is the fantastic letterbox that room 3 have all been a part of creating. The story of the letterbox started with some of the students wanting to have a way to share cards and letters with their friends in class and our school, we decided on a letterbox. So Amelia wrote a letter to Mr Willett asking if he would kindly make one for our class. And he did. Then we decided to decorate it, since all the mail is hand delivered what better to add to it than the hand-prints of our class. This is the finished product. We love it!

Kapahaka and T-Ball

Sunday 1 April was an amazing day in which we had children in Kapahaka and T-Ball at the cultural festival.

The T-Ball team played their hearts out and won their competition.

The kapahaka group performed beautifully.
